Hi,

Today I was at the local recycling centre and I saw three people in rubber boots! One bloke in tall blue Aigle sailing boots, a girl in tall green flowery wellies and finally another girl in what looked liked black rubber riding boots or perhaps just black wellies was already driving away, so difficult to see. And this on a sunny day without any rain. Perhaps the climate for boots is changeling here in Lux? Or just luck after a full week of fairly heavy rain! I myself of cause wore Hunter boots, this time my chocolate ones...

Yesterday I received my aubergine Hunters I got cheap on e-bay' I think the previous owner did not read the users guide' as the boots was heavily stained by the white rubber stains that are well known on Hunter boots. As the wife did not know that I already had a pair of Aubergine Hunters, I decided to wear my orignal aubergine ones later in the day to the local garden center. Some nice looks from the ladies were well received, I'm sure they would love to have their feet in a similar pair of Hunters :-)

Last evening I was out for a short walk with the wife in brown Hunter boots and thick PVC Guy Cotton rain jacket. She discovered that her small floral RHS Hunters had cracked as she got wet feet walking in the tall wet grass. So again a statement to Hunters Chinese legacy.......
