Sometimes it is a pleasure to use something to lubricate oneself on the inside of the rainsuit while wearing it. We know that the silicone based types are the best for the pvc rainwear, but it is expensive and often not available where we are.We also sometimes likes to use a lot, so we try out various other means.

We think that what works nice is to cock a mixture from Maizena, a corn based soup thickener. You can adjust the thicknes of the mixture, one pack makes typically 6-10 litres suitable for staying around the body and not draining down to the boots too fast.

Spescially when i is not too warm outside, this can be used when just cooled down to about 30-47 degrees, giving a very sofr and shiny jelly that does not seem to harm the body nor the rainwear too much.

Does anyone know any reason this could not be so adviseable?

Also use body lotion a lot, this can be bought by the litres for a reasonable price. Smells good, feel nice and can stay in there for a while, but the rainwear seems to take some damage after beeing used with that many times, so we only use that on worn rainwear that is near its end of serviceable status.

In both cases we believe good cleaning is important to remove rests of the mixtures.

Some of the best experience we had with full body wet suit underneath the raindress, filling it with a few litres of such mixture. The neoprene seems to take much less damage of it, and it feels extremely comfortable and and sexy moving around wearing this setup.
